The Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg today will observe the 67th anniversary of the beginning of the Holocaust with a program focusing on Jewish Holocaust victims “not as they died but as they lived,” program officials said. The annual observance of Kristallnacht, also called “the night of broken glass,” will be held at 7 p.m. in the Jewish Community Center. It is free. Kristallnacht was a massive coordinated attack on Jews throughout Germany the night of Nov. 9, 1938.
