Production that helped young Jews cope with horrors of concentration camp is performed on the big stage

A children’s musical written to buoy the spirits of Jewish children living under Nazism has been resurrected for its first major production in more than 60 years. Brundibar was performed more than 50 times in Theresienstadt, a concentration camp in what is now Terezin in the northern Czech Republic. The musical was used by the Nazis in 1943
