Public invited to Holocaust speaker

Holocaust survivor and author Henry Oertelt will speak about his experiences at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Ritsche Auditorium at St. Cloud State University. Oertelt, who lives in St. Paul, grew up with his family in Berlin in the 1930s during the reign of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party. He was rescued from Auschwitz by the U.S. Army in April 1945. The free presentation is offered by the Center for Holocaust & Genocide Education and criminal justice professor Barry Schreiber. The public is welcome to open seats in the balcony.
