Have you ever heard someone say, “my teacher is so mean, he is a Nazi”, “we are on the brink of a nuclear holocaust”, or that America or Israel’s actions are comparable to Hitler and the Nazis? These statements, and others like them, are starting to become more common and acceptable within society today. It seems now that people feel it is okay to compare things to the Nazis and the Holocaust. These days, people compare any kind of war or ethnic cleansing to the travesty of the 1940s. This comparison is ignorant at best and insensitive at worst. Full story.
