celebration of liberation resounds with music and hope

At the “60th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Concentration Camps: A Community-Wide Celebration,” children from the Solomon Schechter Day School Choir sang the Hatikva and the National Anthem for an audience of 800 people, primarily Holocaust survivors. Those singers, those young Jews, represent the future of the Jewish people, a future that never would have existed if not for the bravery of the liberators of the camps.
