Anyone present at the beginning of the encounter yesterday between some 20 12th-grade students at the Branko Weiss high school in Beit Shemesh, and four young facilitators – two Israeli and two German – would have thought the Holocaust was at the low end of the kids’ priorities. When asked at the outset what association the word “German” had, most said soccer, advanced technology or European manners. Only one said Nazi. Full story.
