RIDGEFIELD — Sel Hubert stood near the train at the Munich station and said goodbye to his father.
It was 1939 and 13-year-old Sel was on his way to England. He was Jewish and it was his chance to escape the Nazis. His parents could not come. The British government was only taking in children. Full story.
