The long road that has led to warmer Jewish-Catholic relations shows a way to accords between other faiths, a priest-scholar told an audience of 300 last week at St. Mary Cathedral in Portland.

Moments later, an Orthodox rabbi who played a key role in helping the Vatican recognize the state of Israel told listeners that Jews and Catholics could look to each other for help in more fully living out God’s design for the world. Full story.
