Floridians paid for Holocaust-era policies

The check is finally in the mail for Shimon Gottschalk: $4,000 for the never-paid insurance policy bought by an uncle who died in a Nazi concentration camp during the Holocaust.
“I’m absolutely surprised,” Gottschalk said. “I’m going to share it with my cousin, who is equally deserving.”
