Lajos Kolati, a noted cinematographer, makes an auspicious directorial debut with the Hungarian Holocaust epic Fateless (Sorstalansag), adapted from the international, autobiographical, best-selling memoir by Nobel Prize laureate Imre Kerstesz.

The film, which has been the subject of some controversy here and abroad – as many films dealing with the Holocaust tend to be – is being presented here by Films on Fourth, again coming through on its promise to show movies that otherwise wouldn’t be shown here.
