Survivor to discuss Holocaust

Local psychologist and Holocaust survivor Dr. Erica Miller will speak during services at 7:30 p.m. on Fri., April 21 at Temple Beth Haverim in Agoura Hills.

The talk is taking place in honor of Yom Hashoa, Holocaust Memorial Day on April 25.

Born in Romania, Miller, 72, will discuss her experiences during the Holocaust, her subsequent service in the Israeli Air Force, and the importance of being active in the Jewish community.

A wife and mother of two, Miller has a doctorate in psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She owns and operates 10 mental health clinics in Los Angeles and Orange County. Her patients include victims of domestic violence as well as those recovering from cocaine abuse.

Miller is working on a book about her life.
