Holocaust Remembrance ceremony on Monday

CARMEL — A Holocaust Remembrance ceremony will be noon Monday in Carmel City Hall council chambers.

This year’s theme is “Legacies of Justice.” Elana Kuperstein of Carmel, daughter of a Holocaust survivor, will be the keynote speaker and Rabbi Arnold Bienstock of Congregation Shaarey Tefilla in Indianapolis will be the master of ceremonies.

Creekside Middle School’s seventh-grade choir will perform a musical tribute, and Derek Hakes of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Indianapolis will perform an original composition with hand bells.
