Holocaust ceremony Monday at City Hall

Monday’s program, called “Legacies of Justice,” starts at noon at City Hall.
The Creekside Middle School seventh-grade choir will perform, and Derek Hakes of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church will perform an original handbell song.
Carmel resident Elana Kuperstein, daughter of a Holocaust survivor, will be the keynote speaker at the ceremony, which remembers the persecution and murder of about 6 million Jews and nearly as many others more than 60 years ago by the Nazi regime.
Kuperstein will tell the story of her mother’s experience at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.
