Holocaust Remembrance Day to be held at St. John’s

St. John’s University will co-host Holocaust Remembrance Day on Tuesday, April 25 in cooperation with the Holocaust Resource Center and Archives of Queensborough Community College, Queens Jewish Community Council and Queens Jewish Historical Society. The university presents “A Day of Remembrance” to observe Yom Hashoah (Jewish Heritage Day), which was established to commemorate the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, and the acts of courage by Jews and gentiles against the Nazis prior to and during World War II. The event takes place in Council Hall on the Queens campus of St. John’s.
