Temple Beth El remembers Holocaust victims

Though it happened decades ago and thousands of miles away, the Holocaust is far from forgotten.
Paul Feit, president of the board of directors of Temple Beth El, said the World War II massacre of about 6 million Jewish people should never be ignored.
Odessans have the opportunity to participate in Yom HaShoah, Holocaust remembrance, on Monday and Tuesday. Roland Spickermann, professor of history at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, will speak and hold a question and answer session at Temple Beth El on Monday. The names of Holocaust victims will be read in front of the Ector County Courthouse on Tuesday.
For Feit, the Holocaust is a not-so-distant occurrence.
