Pacific University to Showcase Books on the Holocaust

Pacific University will showcase its unique collection of artists books about the Holocaust May 1-June 9 in the Pacific University Library. There will also be two free lectures and a reception on Friday, May 5, 7:30 p.m., in the Library.

Pacific will showcase its unique collection of 10 artist books about the Holocaust for the first time from May 1 to June 9 in the Pacific University Library. The books, donated to the University in 1999 by Min Zidell, were created by Dave Anderson. Two lectures will also be held in conjunction with the exhibit on May 5 at 7:30 p.m. Art history Professor Julia Alderson will speak about Holocaust art and art Professor Patricia Cheyne will discuss these books and artist books in general. A reception will follow.
