Exhibit opened in Belgium
Belgium’s prime minister inaugurated an exhibition in memory of Belgian victims of Auschwitz.

The exhibition inaugurated Sunday reveals the depth of a “regime of hatred, nationalism and racism,â€? Guy Verhofstadt was quoted as saying by the Polish News Agency.

“Every story about the Holocaust must be passed on, every detail must be retained, and every fact must be brought to light,â€? he said.

Out of the 30,000 Belgian Jews killed by the Nazis — about half of the Belgian Jewish population — 25,000 were murdered at Auschwitz, a Nazi death camp located in Poland.

More than 1.1 million Jews were killed at Auschwitz.
