Sara Hauptman is a most unusual author, on a most unusual book tour. Hauptman is three months shy of her 88th birthday, and she has been addressing audiences in Colorado Springs this week from a wheelchair, with an oxygen tube under her nose because of the high altitude.

When she tires or her Belgianaccented voice fades, co-author and “adopted daughterâ€? Sue Oliver takes up her story.
