The Austrian city of Vienna will create a park in memory of the late Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal, officials said today, two days after announcing that a street in the capital also would be renamed in his honour.

The small garden, to be called Simon Wiesenthal Park, will be placed within Vienna’s Albertinaplatz, the daily newspaper Die Presse reported.

On Wednesday, city officials said a street would be renamed in honour of the renowned Holocaust survivor, who died on September 20 last year after devoting his life to tracking down Nazi war criminals.
