A former post office in downtown Decatur will be the next home of traveling Ann Frank exhibition. The exhibit, touted as the largest Ann Frank exhibit in the world, will be housed in DeKalb for at least the next three years DeKalb CEO Vernon Jones announced at July 11 press conference. During its three year tenure at Kennesaw State University, more than 80,000 people saw the exhibit.

Shortly before the press conference, the DeKalb County Commission voted 5-0 to approve a $85,000 a year, 3-year contract with the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust to the host the exhibit in DeKalb County, starting in December. The commission is contributing $50,000 to the exhibit as well. Funds will go towards preparing the space for the exhibit, staffing and security.
