I am a children’s book author working on a book about the role of the Paris mosque in sheltering refugees during WWII, and would like to interview Jewish survivors who were hidden there as children, or others connected to this rescue. By way of reference, I’m the co-author of Hidden on the Mountain: Stories of Children Sheltered from the Nazis in Le Chambonout next spring from Holiday House.
I wondered whether you might be able to post a notice or otherwise help me in my search to locate some of these people. Or perhaps you could direct me to someone who might help, or to an organization that might be able to provide more information. I can provide more information if it would be helpful.
Anything you can do to help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!
