Pianist's free program concerns Holocaust

GRAND RAPIDS — Beautiful music is liberating, an expression of the artist’s soul. But what if you were forced to create music and had to make it beautiful for your captor.
“I can’t imagine anything quite like that,” pianist Claudia Stevens said. “What an artistic dilemma.”
A professor at the college of William and Mary, Stevens is touring college campuses with her one-woman show, “An Evening with Madame F.”
