Scholars, survivors participate in Holocaust education event

The 24th annual teacher training workshop “The Relevance of Teaching the Holocaust in the 21st Century” will be offered for educators and residents on four consecutive Thursdays from 4:15 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22 with an optional fifth session on March 1.

Sessions will be at the AntiDefamation League office, 10495 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, and at the Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance, also in Los Angeles.

The workshop is presented by the Anti-Defamation League, the Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance and the Center for Excellence on the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, Human Rights and Tolerance, in cooperation with the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, the Los Angeles Unified School District and United Teachers of Los Angeles and the “1939” Club.
