Holocaust survivor to speak
Holocaust survivor Conrad Weiner will recall his experiences from 2-3 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education in Mayerson Hall at Hebrew Union College, 3101 Clifton Ave., Clifton.
Weiner, of Deerfield Township, is a substitute teacher in the Cincinnati and Mason school districts. He is one of 300 survivors from a forced labor camp, Budi. He will give an eyewitness account of the Holocaust during a program in honor of the annual United Nations International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
There will be a guided tour of the permanent exhibit “Mapping Our Tears,” featuring eyewitness accounts from local Holocaust survivors, rescuers and liberators.
