In one small but powerful way, members of Temple Beth Torah got the last word on Adolph Hitler.

In fact, they got thousands of last words on the ruthless dictator.

In the lobby of the Ventura synagogue is a Torah with each of its 80,000 words inscribed in Hebrew.

How this 250-year-old sacred scroll ended up in a California suburban house of worship is a miraculous survival rivaling biblical proportions.
