Aaron Weissman admits the art on display tonight at Simms High School might be a little hard to stomach.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Montana Association of Jewish Communities, takes a chronological look at the Holocaust through photos and other forms of art. It graphically explains the gruesome killings of more than 6 million Jewish people in Europe in the 1930s and 40s.

“It’s an interpretive display,” said Weissman, president of the organization. “It documents the greatest crime ever to occur in human history.”

Titled “Courage to Remember,” the exhibit of 40 posters has traveled around the state for the past 17 years. MAJC obtained the art from the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles.
