Play honors Holocaust survivor

The 90-minute shows will be at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Growing up in Hainesport, Shana Fogarty knew little of her grandmother’s experiences during the Holocaust. When she got to The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, however, Fogarty declared Holocaust studies a minor. For her independent study project she interviewed her grandmother, Elizabeth Blum Goldstein, and wrote a memoir.

Of a Comb, a Prayer Book, Sugar Cubes and Lice: Survivor of Six Concentration Camps, Elizabeth Blum Goldstein described the painful ascent into the hell that was captivity at the hands of the Nazis.
