Holocaust Museum Houston to Honor the late Daniel Pearl
of the Wall Street Journal with
2007 Lyndon Baines Johnson Moral Courage Award

WHAT: Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and murdered by terrorists in Pakistan, will be honored posthumously as the 2007 recipient of Holocaust Museum Houston’s Lyndon Baines Johnson Moral Courage Award. Pearl’s parents, Ruth and Judea Pearl, will accept the award on his behalf. Charlie Rose, of the Public Broadcasting System program “Charlie Rose,” will present the award. More than 1,200 people are expected to attend.

WHEN: VIP reception begins at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2007; Formal dinner begins at 7 p.m.; Award presentation at approximately 8:20 to 8:30 p.m.
