WARSAW follows Roman, a young Jewish man, who is trapped inside the Warsaw ghetto, separated from his fiancee, Ana, a Polish Catholic. With a richly harmonic and soaring score, we watch their struggle to reunite against overwhelming odds as Roman joins a small group of fighters who struggle for freedom and dignity. WARSAW is based on true events during World War II and honors the memory of the Ghetto fighters’ struggle. This cast of Broadway performers will pay homage to these heroes, sung and unsung, in this musical drama with the sweep of Les Miserables, the thoughtful book and lyrics of John Atkins, and a score which echoes the work of Kurt Weill and Leonard Bernstein, all with William Wade’s distinct musical voice.

PERFORMANCES are October 4, 2007 at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
