Asheville – Anne Frank never meant to be a writer, but her famous diary of her family’s days hiding from the Nazis during World War II means she’s never forgotten.

Nor will the millions of Jews and others who died with her in concentration camps, in part because of the internationally touring exhibition “Anne Frank: A History for Today” at Biltmore Square Mall beginning Sunday through Nov. 9.

The Center for Diversity Education and several other community groups are bringing the exhibit to a gallery near Belk department store. The exhibit, which presents archival photographs and historical text in both English and Spanish, is open 3-9 p.m. weekdays and during regular mall hours on weekends. Donations will be accepted.
