INMAN — “I will tell you about our liberation and how we finally started our life anew in our blessed United States of America,” Marion Blumenthal Lazan, Holocaust survivor, said.
Lazan shared the childhood story of her time spent in concentration camps during WWII with Inman students Wednesday. You could hear a pin drop as students heard a living history over the next hour.
“Mine is a story Anne Frank might have told had she survived,” Lazan said. “This is also a story that conveys a message of perseverance, determination, faith and, above all, hope.”
