Writer, soldier bring stories of Holocaust survivors

NEWBURYPORT – Voices that were silenced by the Holocaust are being heard again through survivors.
Twenty local Holocaust survivors and 10 concentration camp liberators share experiences in the nonfiction book, “I Refused to Die: Stories of Boston Area Holocaust Survivors and Soldiers Who Liberated the Concentration Camps of World War II,” compiled by Susie Davidson.
Believing in the importance in sharing survivors’ stories, Davidson and Dachau Concentration Camp liberator Cranston “Chan” Rogers are touring the area presenting the book and World War II stories.
