A Columbia University professor who has become the target of anti-Semitic threats because of her vehement opposition to the visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the New York City campus has vowed not to be silenced.

Dr. Elizabeth Midlarsky, an East Brunswick resident, lost many family members during the Holocaust and has specialized over the course of her 40-year career in studying the Shoa, particularly the altruism of Christian rescuers.
