It may not have been released with quite the same fanfare as animated films Happy Feet and The Simpsons Movie, but a groundbreaking resource used to teach children about the Shoah joined those hit productions as a winner at last Sunday’s BAFTA Children’s Awards.
Recollections: Eyewitnesses Remember The Holocaust, which includes testimony from Jewish and other survivors of the Holocaust as well as from rescuers, scooped the prestigious accolade in the Learning Secondary category.
