Baron de Rothschild recalled his family’s commitment for Israel and the Jewish community.

PARIS/TEL AVIV (EJP)—Baron David de Rothschild, president of the Paris-based Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah, announced that he has donated 400,000 euros to help the most deprived survivors of the Holocaust living in Israel.

“The Foundation became aware that a number of survivors of the Shoah live in Israel in a precarious situation. That is why we rallied to help them”, de Rothschild said this week during the annual congress of “Latet” (to give in Hebrew), the main Israeli chariy association, who was held in Rishon Tzion, near Tel Aviv.
