This highly informative all-day workshop will be presented by Peter Nelson of Facing History and Ourselves, and will address the issues of racism, civil rights, and the historical importance of The Little Rock Nine. This workshop is appropriate for middle and high school teachers and highly recommended for teachers planning to bring their students to the Center for Holocaust Studies’ Annual Colloquium on May 15, 2008. Dr. Terrence Roberts, one of The Little Rock Nine, will be the keynote speaker at the Annual Colloquium.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
