The Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Survivors yesterday demanded the removal from their posts of the heads of the Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims Assets. Foundation chair Ze’ev Factor said in a letter to retired Judge Yitzhak Revivi, who heads the general assembly of the company, that director general Ishai Amrami and chairman Avraham Roet, were disregarding an opinion issued by the Justice Ministry requiring the company to make funds available for the welfare of survivors. Amrami and Roet say that their primary obligation is not to the survivors, but to the heirs of those who perished in the Holocaust. (Anshel Pfeffer)
