The Movement for Quality Government petitioned the High Court of Justice Thursday against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Finance Minister Ronnie Bar-On and Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, demanding that they immediately transfer the monthly allowances and all other financial aid to Holocaust survivors, in accordance with the Dorner Committee report.

The petition stated that the government is delaying the implementation of the Dorner Committee’s report on assisting Holocaust survivors. The committee concluded that the government breached its legal obligation towards the survivors as well as its commitment to the restitution agreements with the German government.
