Embracing the Past to Build the Future: A Conference for Children of Holocaust Survivors and Their Families, which will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 1:15 – 5:00 pm at the Jewish Community Center of Paramus, E.304 Midland Ave in Paramus NJ.

The Keynote presentation is Sixty Four Years Later: Interpreting Survival by Dr. Paula David, Ph.D., University of Toronto. Dr. David developed the Holocaust Resource Program at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and has presented and published articles on her work with Holocaust survivors and their families. Workshops include: Faith After the Holocaust, What We Have Gained From our Legacy, Marrying Into a Survivor Family and Issues of Loss and Hope.
