KRISTALLNACHT PROGRAM IN FOREST HILLS TO FEATURE NOTED AUTHOR ON HOLOCAUST RESCUERS

Kristallnacht, often marked as the first event of the Holocaust, will be remembered on Tuesday, November 11, at 1:30 p.m.. at the Central Queens YM & YWHA in Forest Hills, with a talk by Pullitzer Prize nominated author Dr. Eva Fogelman, on understanding the remarkable non-Jewish individuals who risked everything to save Jewish lives. Dr. Eva Fogelman, who is Founding Director of the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous, is the author of a groundbreaking book on Holocaust rescuers, Conscience and Courage: Why Holocaust Rescuers Chose to Act.
