Lisa Yavnai will be the new Director of the Survivors Registry. In her new position, Lisa will direct the work of the Registry, including its outreach efforts, reference services, and ITS research. For the past five years, Lisa has served as the Director of the Visiting Scholar Programs at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies. In that role she managed several fellows programs, hosted nearly 150 fellows from around the world, and worked on fund raising with the Development Office to secure the future of the program. She was also involved with the legal negotiations to open the International Tracing Service archives at Bad Arolsen, Germany, and most recently has been managing the scholarly exploration of the ITS documents at the Museum. Lisa holds a Ph.D. in International History from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a J.D. from Northeastern University.
