Esther Bejarano, 85, from Saarbrucken, and Kutlu Yurtseven, a 36-year-old Turkish immigrant, are on tour across Germany to coincide with Holocaust Memorial Day tomorrow. They released a CD last year.

Mrs Bejerano was forced to play in a girls’ orchestra at the Nazi death camp as trainloads of Jews arrived. She says music kept her alive as a prisoner, while her parents and sister Ruth were killed.
