Moscow, April 8,– The mournful ceremony dedicated to Nazi and Resistance movement victims will be held in the Memorial Synagogue at the Poklonnaya Gora.

The ceremony will culminate in the first night of mono-opera Anna Frank’s Diary by Grigory Frid with Natalia Nezhinskaya starring, the Russian Jewish Congress told Interfax-Religion.

Ambassador of Israel to the Russian Federation Anna Azari and President of the Russian Jewish Congress Yury Kanner opened an official part of the ceremony.

The ceremony is timed for the Day of Disaster and Heroism when Israel and all world Jewish communities commemorate Jewish Warsaw Ghetto Rebellion in April 1943.

“Today we commemorate not only six million of Jews killed in the Holocaust, but all victims of World War II,” the Congress officials reminded.
