Those who like to collect historical documents and ephemera may have come across Mullock’s Auction House based in Shropshire. Over the past few years, Mullock’s have sold some quite remarkable lots for thousands of pounds, including a collar tab supposedly belonging to a member of a notorious SS unit. Mullock’s also likes to sell paintings by Adolf Hitler, the provenance of which is notoriously hard to ascertain. I’m therefore suprised to see that Mullock’s is selling what is purported to be a Holocaust medical instrument, used to measure the cranium, from “Orianienburg [sic] Concentration Camp.”
