JERUSALEM (AFP) – Israel’s Holocaust museum, Yad Vashem, on Sunday launched a YouTube page entirely in Farsi, saying the “channel” would expand global access to “credible information about the Holocaust.””The Farsi YouTube channel contains survivor testimonies, archival footage and mini-lectures by Holocaust historians on topics such as contemporary anti-Semitism and what makes the Holocaust a unique historical event,” the museum said in a statement.”One of our primary goals is to make credible information about the Holocaust accessible to as wide an audience as possible,” Avner Shalev, Yad Vashem’s chairman, said in a statement.
