International Holocaust educators will be trained under a programme organised by Hungary’s Holocaust Memorial Centre and the Washington-based Holocaust Memorial Museum in Budapest from October, the centre told MTI on Sunday.   The programme will be co-sponsored by the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research as well as Hungary’s National Resources Ministry.   Organisers have invited teachers, lecturers, adviser on education, researchers, decision makers in education and NGO education experts to apply.   The participants will draft individual education projects, attend a week-long training in Budapest, make a study tour to memorial sites, complete a paper and present their projects at a closing conference.   Historians and staff members of both institutions will hold seminars, consultations and training sessions in the Pava Street Memorial Centre and the Central European University.
